The Yakima Elks golf course started out as the Riverside Golf and Country Club in Selah, WA.

On December 19th, 1950, the members of the Riverside Club voted to transfer ownership of the course (and related facilities) to the Yakima Elks due to financial hardship.

The course has been well cared for ever since.
